Privacy Policy

RoutineSum is designed to work without an account. This policy explains what stays on your device, what is measured in aggregate, and what is stored only when you choose to publish an anonymous community receipt.

Log Files

RoutineSum follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Personal Receipts

Creating and saving a personal Routine Receipt happens in your browser. The saved draft remains on that device unless you clear it. Creating or saving a receipt does not publish it.

Optional Community Receipts

If you choose to publish, RoutineSum stores the nickname, city, currency, rounded receipt totals, and publication time needed to display that receipt. We do not ask for a real name, email, account, or precise location. Public sharing is off by default and requires a separate confirmation.

Analytics

RoutineSum uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate page views and actions such as starting a calculator, viewing a result, downloading a receipt, or choosing to publish. These events help us improve the site and are not used to create public profiles.

Hosting and Third Parties

Our hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, time, and requested page to operate and secure the service. Links to other websites are governed by their own privacy policies.

Cloudflare Turnstile protects public receipt submissions from automated abuse. It may process browser, device, and network signals to verify that a submission is legitimate. RoutineSum does not use this check to create public profiles.

Your Choices

You can use the calculators without publishing and clear locally saved receipt data through your browser. New public receipts receive a removal key saved only on the device that shared them, so they can be removed from the community on that device.
